We are Certified Naturally Grown, and do not use synthetic inputs like fertilizers or pesticides, while taking a soil-building approach in our systems.

Our food safety program is certified under CanadaGAP. That means staff training, regular cleaning and maintenance of facilities and equipment, traceability, and preventative controls of potential hazards to food, so you can rest assured that your salad has been handled with the utmost care.

Harvested and packed one day, delivered the next. Local means fresher. Like, weeks fresher.
Button Brook Farm is run by Paul Hubble and family, and a handful of talented staff. Situated on about 200 acres of forest and field on Button Brook and the Annapolis River, the farm began current operations in 2020.
Our vision is to cultivate local flourishing by providing meaningful employment and healthy food to Nova Scotians.
Paul is the 7th generation of his family to work this special land in Mi’kma’ki, and his dream is to scale local and regenerative agriculture into a true alternative to conventional imports.

You can find our products from Annapolis Royal to Halifax: at Graves Freshmart, Heather’s Independent, Local Source, Noggins Corner Farm Markets, Spurr Brother’s, Bushel and Barrow, Wolfville Farmer’s Market To Go and on the menu at numerous restaurants, universities, and Halifax Convention Centre.
